M1  the drawbacks

An apple mac computer . The drawbacks of this is can crash and break down.

A scanner. The drawbacks to this item is that the lid can come of, it can scan differently and the picture or document can go blurry and you can only scan one thing in at a time which takes for ever to do.

A Kodak printer. The drawbacks to this printer are that it only prints one thing at a time, the ink can run out, they can sometimes not place the picture right to the edge and cuts it off and puts a white strip.

A memory stick. The drawback to this is that it sometimes doesn’t save the work, and can break.

A camera. The draw backs to this camera is that might not be enough pixels for what they need, the picture may be blurry.

A drawing tablet.  The drawbacks to this is that it could not input the graphic design that you want.

A home broadband. The drawbacks are it could be slow, wont work.

A webcam. The drawbacks it might not have enough megapixels .

A mouse. The drawbacks to this would be that it might disconnect the mouse from the computer.

 A keyboard. The drawbacks to this would be that it might disconnect the keyboard from the computer.

Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The drawbacks to these programs are that the company can crash and the whole of the work can be wiped or loss for a bit. Graphic software is complicated to use and takes years to learn how to use it.

    A local band would like a logo designed for their website this needs to be combined with their band photo.

The band would have to bitmap because you can view it on the internet.
 gif, jpeg, PNG are the software you can use to upload pictures and documents to the internet. This would make their picture stand and tell us what they look like and their band name.

    A builder wants some eye catching text for the side of his van to improve business opportunities.

The builder would have to use vector because when you enlarge their logo and photo it won’t be blurry and be pixelated, to do this you can do it in the software EPS, AI (adobe illustrator) and CDR (coral draw) and add colour to add detail which will draw the viewer in and catch their eye to make them hirer that builder.

   The nursery on your estate would like a flyer designed to promote the facility.

The nursery’s flyer could include vectors and bitmaps so they could use gif, jpeg, PNG and EPS, AI (adobe illustrator) and CDR (coral draw), to show off their product and design a lot of different leaflets/ flyers etc.
