unit 14, task 4, d2

UNIT 14
TASK 4
D2

In p7 me and Daniel Wemyss used Short message service (sms) because it has more advantages than any other communication protocol but it also contains some disadvantages. You can add all your contacts into one message and it will cost less but if you put a contact onto every message then it will cost you lots and another disadvantage would be that you might run out of characters (amount of numbers or letters you can use) on some phones so you have to waste more credit sending messages and if you are messaging important people such as gas and electricity people or friends and family then you might use up your space, you can also add only a certain amount of contacts because the machine will not be able to process the data.

You could also use Bluetooth to send the number to the other person by clicking on a contact and pressing options which will take you to a screen and on that screen it says send contact, so you click it and it will come up with four options they are sent as a text message, as a multimedia message, as a email or via Bluetooth, which Bluetooth will send a contact through one phone to another by satellite.

You can also use whatsapp to send the number to the other person by highlighting the contact, and then click the options button and press send to whatsapp contact, sometimes it can take seconds to answer however sometimes it can take ages for a reply. It is sent through the satellite then back down to the other phone.
